Ingredients
- 4 Lbs of goat meat
- 2 Lemons cut into halves
- 2 tbsp of vinegar
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp of powdered oregano
- 2 tsp of mashed garlic
- 2 Large green bell peppers
- 1 Medium red onion cut into four quarters
- 4 Plum tomatoes cut into
- 4 quarters
- 2 Small jalapeno peppers finely chopped
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
Directions
- Clean the goat meat with the lemons.
- In a mixing bowl add the meat, season with Onion, Garlic, pepper, oregano and vinegar.
- In a skillet, heat the oil, add the sugar, stir until brown,then add the meat.
- Stir until the meat has a light brown color. Add 1 cup of water, cover,simmer at low heat for 30-35 minutes.
- Adjust water until the meat is tender, add the remaining ingredients.
- Add salt to taste. Reduce liquid to obtain a thin sauce.
